Very rarely are districts of the city dedicated almost in their entirety to a single god, especially not a god of the Pantheon. However, one district that breaks this trend wholeheartedly is the 69th, devoted to Dionysus. Across the pleasure capital of the city, every face of the Masked Prince can be seen in some aspect, from the opulent townhouses of the scions of aristocracy to the colourful drag bars of the dingy backstreets; from the lavish hotels of the district centre, to the circus performers in Carnival Square outside the window. All forms of indulgence can be found here, refined pleasures to avaricious debauchery - all set in the scarlet and amethyst of the Wandering Bard. The people here live to party, and party well; when festivals come around, the 69th is the home to the most extravagant performances and the most excessive feasts - especially when the seasonal carnivals come around.
